Ashanti Ram’s Divine Fragrance

by Tony Sokol on November 1, 2012

Ashanti Ram is committed to helping and healing others. She has developed a healing scent that works in conjunction with other spiritual practices, such as meditation, to enhance the experience and to explore the emotions that such soul-searching evokes. It is fair to say that Ashanti puts herself into her Divine Fragrance products: Creating the fragrances is akin to spiritual work for Ashanti.   “I am using my soul, my life doing these products,” she says. “That’s why I don’t make too much of the product, because my energy is limited.” There is so much of Ashanti in Divine Fragrance that some people who are much attuned spiritually might even get a sense of her smile while using it.

When she was very young, Ashanti Ram was sexually abused by someone who held a high position in Taiwan’s social order. When she told her mother about the incident, just two years ago, her mother didn’t believe her. Recently a bad breakup with her boyfriend left Ashanti feeling betrayed. Her feelings of betrayal disturbed her sleep for days leading her ultimately to attempt suicide.  She was at the bottom of that despair when she came upon the fragrance she had been working on. Along with meditations, the scent restored her hope and ultimately her faith in herself, other people and God. Ashanti Ram means “the one who serves God” and it is a name that suits her. She receives guidance from the inspiration of two Deities: Quan Yin, the Goddess of Mercy and The Medicine Master Buddha. She has developed seven scents devoted to healing and well-being.

Ashanti calls the Divine Fragrance a relaxing, loving, liquid incense. It gives off a very strong scent which is strong enough to pull at emotions or give the sensation of a hug or a touching moment in your life. Divine Fragrance brings a sensation of peace and comfort to whoever uses it. Some people responded to the scent with tears of joy that spring spontaneously from their experiences of love and peace. The scents can be used along with other forms of spiritual or psychological works to help people deal with addiction, depression, sadness, and hopelessness. The scent captures the energy of a healing mantra and brings a great sense of well-being to the person using it. Freeing them to let go of the past and live in the present; to experience their pain from a remote place so they can better evaluate it from a safe distance; to feel emotions at their fullest so they can more completely let them go.

Ashanti Ram works with the souls of her clients, nurturing and calming the issues that plague them. She does this because she has used spiritual works and products to heal her own pain. She learned to release past resentments, forgive betrayals and overcome the distrust that accompanies abandonment and pain. Her Divine Fragrance uses more than just the ingredients of flower extract, crystal essence, and water, its recipe includes what Ashanti Ram concludes to be the right vibration.

Ashanti Ram calls herself a “manifester.” She believes that people can manifest that which they desire when they release ego. She says that ego creates fear and urges people to surrender to the divine and to focus on the present. As a healer, Ram says she “studied myself for years in order to balance my mind, body, emotion, and spirit. I am amazed by God’s arrangement in my life. It allows me to learn and practice how to discern true-self, ego, higher-self, consciousness, sub-consciousness, soul, spirit, spiritual disturbance. I have to keep making an effort on improving myself in order to live a joyful life in every present moment.”
